Board shorts

Today’s new board shorts are all the rage amongst those that love the beach sun and surf.  How cool is it to head out on your surf board with a pair of board shorts that you know fits just right.

Board shorts are made of the right kind of fabric that keeps it’s shape and is pretty much water repellant so they dry really quickly which is why everyone loves them so much.  With the comfortable fit, the tie waist which helps you adjust the fit and the flap back pockets that have a flap covering the opening of the pocket to keep things inside these shorts are popular with kids, teens and adults.

The other nice thing about board shorts is that you can wear them in the water and on the beach, boating and waterskiing they are very versatile. You can get them in a solid color, plaid, stripes, floral or just about any print you can think of.  There are board shorts for both men and women.  The men’s board shorts are typically longer reaching just above the knee and the women’s are shorter ending at the top of the leg to mid thigh.

For the women you can wear your board shorts with a bikini type top, halter, triangle or tankini and if you want more coverage you can slip on a t-shirt with them too.  That is what is so good about these shorts is that they are very versatile. 

For the men you can wear a t-shirt or button down shirt with the board shorts and still look great in them.  They are great protection from the sun and if you are prone to getting a rash they will actually protect your skin from the irritating rashes you can sometimes get when you are out in the water or on our surf board.
