Girl's swimwear

The evolution of girl’s swimwear is similar to what you see in women’s bathing suits. Women wore one-piece swimsuits for the longest time before they transitioned into bikinis. The swimsuits for little girls are the same way. They start out wearing one-piece swimsuits and slowly move into smaller and smaller bathing suits before they end up wearing two piece bikinis. The interesting this is that when a girl becomes a woman they move from a one-piece swimsuit into a two piece bikini, but when they get into their 40s and 50s they start wearing one-piece swimsuits all over again.

You need to protect girls from the sun and the prying eyes of people whose intentions might not be as pure as most of us are willing to admit. Sunscreen helps out, but it can only do so much for a girl who has a lot of skin exposed. The sun has the potential to do more damage if it has a large surface area to shine on. If you minimize the amount of skin that’s exposed to the sun, you’re going to lower the changes of enduring the harsh effects of skin damage. We’re not saying you have to put your girl in a full-body swimsuit, but a bathing suit that’s able to cover the most skin possible.

As a parent, you can choose what type of swimwear your children wear until they’re at least 18 years old. They might resist you, but they have no choice until they’re legally an adult.
