Swimwear trends change every year.  Whether we like it or not, they evolve rapidly because they’re a part of the world of fashion.  Fashion changes as the whims of the people change.  Designers want to come out with the newest, coolest looking thing that’s sure to beat what came out last year.  Sometimes they succeed in this pursuit while they fall short other times.  It all depends on how good of a job they do in staying within the norms of what’s to be expected for swimwear.  A swimwear trend can be a good thing and a bad thing at the same time.  A trend indicates that something is popular and popularity isn’t necessarily a good thing most of the time.
Swimwear trends change as rapidly as the seasons during which they are popular.  A popular swimsuit can become bargain bin fodder within the course of a few days.  You don’t want people to catch you in something that went out of style months ago.  Look at any other piece of clothing the same way.  Making sure you’re in fashion is important because you want to do so if you’re trying to fit within fashionable circles. 
You have to stay on top of swimwear trends.  It’s hard to tell what’s in and out with how fast everything is cycles in and out.  But it’s important for you to do everything you can to figure out what’s new and hip in the fashion industry.  It could mean the difference between losing and gaining a lot of friends.
