Women's swimwear

Women’s swimwear has come a long way since previous decades. The evolution of women’s swimwear is correlated with the evolution of social standards. Women were modest when men tried to suppress their identities and turn them into subservient servants to their every whim. The cliché stereotype from way back when had women in the kitchen making dinner in a dress and pearls. As with all kinds of adversity, the group that’s being oppressed rises up and rallies against their oppressors. When women were expected to do what men told them, they wore a one-piece bathing suit that was more for function than form. It covered what the woman didn’t want anyone else to see and kept their body warm in the water. That was about it.

When women started to become empowered, the one-piece turned into two pieces and the space between each piece grew larger and more provocative. Some people say this brand of swimwear is lewd, but it’s all a matter of taste. One type of bathing suit isn’t going to meet the standards of everybody else. The type of bathing suit you wear is up to you and it’s alright no matter what other people might say. There are clear common sense guidelines for modesty. You have to wear a bathing suit that covers all of your private areas. If you don’t, you’re going to get arrested, which will make your fashion choice in vain. You want to make a choice that both allows you to express yourself and stay on the right side of the law.
